I was rudely greeted this morning by several complaints that one of my web sites was no longer available.  After some digging around, I learned that IX Webhosting has a major Daylight Savings time glitch in their billing system.  Apparently they expired one of my hosting accounts last night at 12:00 am.

Fortunately this site is hosted at Hurricane Electric, who has been a reliable host for over 10 years.  You just have to learn some lessons the hard way I guess.

RPMworld was moved to a new server last week, after unscheduled maintenance caused the original server to be taken out of service. Many adjustments had to be made to adapt to the new hosting environment. Presently, it appears that RPMworld is back to normal, but it will continue to be monitored closely. On Sunday 3/20/05 we lost one of our fellow racers, FASTXCR. He passed away at the age of 45. His name was Barry, and he will be sadly missed. RPMworld extends our condolences to his family.
